In Friday's league contest, the visiting Franklin Panthers basketball team scored a close 58-53 win over the Attleboro Bombardiers.

The Panthers (18-0) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Milford, MA). The Scarlet Hawks come into the Hockomock contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Milford was tipped by King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA), 55-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bombardiers battle the Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Attleboro will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 73-55 league loss to Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA).
