The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) and the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), observed West Aurora's basketball team overwhelm Aurora East by a margin of 76-34.

The Blackhawks (18-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 22-3 record. In their last challenge, Brother Rice trounced Marmion (Aurora, IL), 65-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tomcats battle the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a Upstate Eight - West challenge, on Friday, February 14. Aurora East will attempt to better on its 8-19 season record.
