The Eula Pirates basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Baird Bears to 36 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 17-16 record. They play next when they travel to Gordon for a 1A Region II District 13 game on Monday, February 10. Eula will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 league win over Moran (Moran, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Baird falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Bears host Strawn (Strawn, TX) to confront the Greyhounds in a 1A Region II District 13 game on Monday, February 10. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 7-11.
