In Wednesday's league test, the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) basketball squad defeated the host Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA), by a score of 40-28.

Next, the Rams clash with the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) in a Pioneer test, on Monday, February 10. Highland will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Green Waves come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 77-70 league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).

The Chargers (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Craig County (New Castle, VA). The Rockets come into the Pioneer test with a 0-20 record. In their last test, Craig County went down by Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA), 61-39, in a non-league test.
