Beach Buccaneers (Beach, ND) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs (Bowman, ND), 49-43 in a league match.

With the victory, Beach advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to New Salem (New Salem, ND) to meet the Holsteins in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Holsteins enter the match with a record of 6-11. New Salem won 56-31 in their recent league match against Center-Stanton (Center, ND)

The Bulldogs now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding County for a non-league match on Monday, February 17.
