Texas High School Basketball - Garrison holds off Beckville

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Garrison Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 47-41 triumph over the Beckville Bearcats.
The Bulldogs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Timpson (Timpson, TX). The Bears go into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 18-12 record. In their last contest, Timpson nipped Tenaha (Tenaha, TX), 56-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Beckville will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 24-8 record after their 46-39 league win over Waskom (Waskom, TX).
