In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines basketball team scored a good 61-42 triumph over the Bertha-Hewitt Bears.
The Wolverines (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings go into the AA Section 8 contest with a 17-4 record.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Underwood Rockets (Underwood, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Bertha-Hewitt will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 11-10 record after their 82-51 league win over Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN).
