The Bishop Grimes Cobras basketball squad (East Syracuse, NY), was nudged 44-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY)
With the victory, Christian Brothers Academy advances its record to 8-9 on the year. The Brothers travel to Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY) to meet the Gaelic Knights in a Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty Central battle on Friday, February 14. The Gaelic Knights enter the battle with a record of 16-3. Bishop Ludden won 83-47 in their recent non-league battle against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY)
The Cobras now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league battle on Sunday, February 9. Bishop Grimes will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 76-57 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
