Ohio High School Basketball - Black River beaten by Firelands

The Firelands Falcons were victorious over the visiting Black River Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 67-47 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Falcons face the Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) in a Lorain County 8 outing, on Saturday, February 8. Firelands will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Cardinals enter the outing with a 12-6 record after their 87-62 league win over Wellington (Wellington, OH).

The Pirates (4-16) will now prepare for their outing against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Tuslaw was defeated by Triway (Wooster, OH), 51-36, in a league outing.
