The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) and the host Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR), observed Blanchet Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Sheridan by a margin of 64-38.

The Cavaliers (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans come into the 3A PacWest challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Sheridan was trounced by Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR), 64-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Sheridan will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 66-52 league win over Amity (Amity, OR).
