In Friday's league contest, the host Howe Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 62-30 triumph over the Blue Ridge Tigers.

The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 19-10 record. In their last contest, Leonard smashed Gunter (Gunter, TX), 52-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Blue Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-19 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 1-25 record after their 75-24 league loss to Bells (Bells, TX).
