Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic - N.I. sneaks past Franklin

The Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) basketball edged the visiting Franklin Hornets (Franklin, LA), 48-46 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 20-16 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Catholic - N.I. will play a Raiders team coming off a 71-22 league win over Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 16-11.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 22-13 on the campaign. The Hornets host West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA) to play the Wolfpack in a 2A District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 12-11.
