In Friday's league contest, the host Catoosa Indians basketball team scored a good 71-60 triumph over the Hilldale Hornets.
The Indians (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Preston (Preston, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Preston topped Henryetta (Henryetta, OK), 47-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) in a Verdigris Valley contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Hilldale will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 13-5 record after their 67-54 league win over Oologah (Oologah, OK).
