In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lowell Red Arrows basketball team scored a close 42-38 triumph over the Cedar Springs Red Hawks.

The Red Arrows (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Yellow Jackets go into the River Cities contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Greenville nipped Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI), 54-36, in a non-league battle.

The Red Hawks now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coopersville for a River Cities battle on Tuesday, February 11. Cedar Springs will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 9-8.
