In Friday's league contest, the host Chireno Owls basketball team scored a big 80-40 win over the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs.

The Owls (19-9) will now prepare for their contest against West Sabine (Pineland, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, West Sabine was trounced by Woden (Woden, TX), 57-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Corrigan-Camden will attempt to better on its 5-20 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 24-3 record after their 73-19 league win over Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX).
