The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS) and the visiting Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS), observed Concordia's basketball team knock off Wamego by a score of 63-53.

The Panthers (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapman (Chapman, KS). The Irish come into the North Central Kansas challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, Chapman prevailed over Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS), 51-50, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Wamego falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Independent (Wichita, KS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Independent lost 57-41 in their recent league bout against Kingman (Kingman, KS)
