In Friday's league contest, the host Edgewood Warriors basketball team scored a big 66-34 triumph over the Conneaut Spartans.

The Warriors (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ursuline (Youngstown, OH). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Ursuline was trounced by Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 70-65, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Conneaut will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 18-2 record after their 65-38 league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH).
