Virginia High School Basketball - Courtland bests James Monroe

February 7, 2025: Spotsylvania, VA 22553

The Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) basketball toppled the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 51-34 in Friday's league bout.

The Cougars (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones go into the Battlefield contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Eastern View topped Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 69-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets confront the Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Battlefield contest, on Tuesday, February 11. James Monroe will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record.
