In Friday's league contest, the host Highland Park Scots basketball team scored a big 78-27 win over the Creekview Mustangs.
The Scots (25-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 22-11 record. In their last contest, Lone Star smashed Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 64-63, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Creekview will attempt to better on its 9-21 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 12-21 record after their 73-65 league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
