The Quarry Lane Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Cristo Rey De La Salle Mustangs to 27 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Averroes for a Bay Area Independent game on Monday, February 10. Quarry Lane will confront a Falcon team coming off a 71-28 non-league loss to St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Falcon record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Cristo Rey De La Salle falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Summit Tamalpais (Richmond, CA) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 11. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Summit Tamalpais lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Emery (Emeryville, CA)
