Illinois High School Basketball - Hampshire knocks off Crystal Lake Central

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs basketball team scored a good 63-45 win over the Crystal Lake Central Tigers.
The Whip-Purs (10-17) will now prepare for their contest against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL). The Golden Eagles come into the Fox Valley contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Jacobs defeated Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) in a Fox Valley contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to better on its 6-21 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 15-12 record after their 57-53 league loss to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL).
