The Rivercrest Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Detroit Eagles to 40 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 10-21 record. They play next when they travel to Pewitt for a 2A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, February 11. Rivercrest will battle a Brahmas team coming off a 60-52 league win over Bowie (Simms, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 15-16.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Maud Cardinals (Maud, TX) in a 2A Region II District 16 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Detroit will attempt to better on its 8-20 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 18-12 record after their 60-42 league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, TX).
