In Friday's league contest, the host Dow Chargers basketball team scored a close 43-38 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.

The Chargers (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI). The Cavaliers go into the Saginaw Valley contest with a 13-4 record.
