In Friday's league contest, the visiting Dyersburg Trojans basketball team scored a good 65-52 triumph over the Dyer County Choctaws.

The Trojans (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against South Gibson (Medina, TN). The Hornets go into the 3A District 13 contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, South Gibson was topped by Gibson County (Dyer, TN), 69-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Choctaws battle the Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN) in a 3A District 13 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Dyer County will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 16-7 record after their 66-48 league win over Crockett County (Alamo, TN).
