In Friday's league contest, the host Eastern Warriors basketball team scored a good 57-46 triumph over the Peebles Indians.

The Warriors (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH). The Mustangs go into the Southern Hills contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Lynchburg-Clay was toppled by North Adams (Seaman, OH), 70-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians confront the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a Southern Hills contest, on Saturday, February 8. Peebles will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 58-41 league win over West Union (West Union, OH).
