The Eagles (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers come into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Coweta was knocked off by Bixby (Bixby, OK), 49-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffaloes encounter the Memorial Chargers (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. McAlester will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 52-29 league win over Durant (Durant, OK).
