The Elmwood-Murdock Knights basketball squad (Murdock, NE), was crushed 74-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE)

With the victory, Freeman advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Auburn (Auburn, NE) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 15-2. Auburn won 71-37 in their recent non-league battle against Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE)

The Knights now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson County Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. Elmwood-Murdock will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 14-5.
