The Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) basketball edged the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 56-54 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Tattnall County for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Metter will play a Warriors team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Emanuel County Institute falls to 3-19 on the campaign.
