In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Fairmont Cardinals basketball team scored a big 76-32 triumph over the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans.

The Cardinals (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Arrows go into the AA Section 3 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Pipestone smashed Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 59-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 4-15 record after their 74-61 league loss to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN).
