The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's basketball team overwhelm Fall River by a margin of 79-32.

The Bears (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves come into the Shasta Cascade challenge with a 13-12 record. In their last challenge, Modoc was trounced by Weed (Weed, CA), 78-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Fall River will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 64-46 league loss to Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA).
