The Powell County Wardens basketball squad (Deer Lodge, MT), was crushed 71-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Florence-Carlton Falcons (Florence, MT)

With the victory, Florence-Carlton advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Arlee (Arlee, MT) to meet the in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The enter the battle with a record of 9-3. Arlee lost 75-34 in their recent league battle against Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT)

The Wardens now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Darby for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. Powell County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 78-28 league loss to Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
