The Owls (23-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ozona (Ozona, TX). The Lions come into the 2A Region I District 7 challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Ozona edged Sterling City (Sterling City, TX), 55-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffaloes encounter the Christoval Cougars (Christoval, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Forsan will attempt to improve on its 18-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 19-12 record after their 54-44 league win over Eldorado (Eldorado, TX).
