Kansas High School Basketball - Parsons holds off Fort Scott

The Parsons Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Fort Scott Tigers to 46 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Labette County for a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, February 11. Parsons will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 67-54 league loss to Independence (Independence, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Fort Scott falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chanute (Chanute, KS) to confront the Blue Comets in a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, February 11. The Blue Comets go into the game with a record of 12-2. Chanute won 54-44 in their recent non-league game against Iola (Iola, KS)
