In Friday's league test, the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) basketball squad got by the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), by a score of 45-43.
Next, the Broncos encounter the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a 4A District 1 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Kirtland Central will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Chieftains come into the test with a 3-19 record after their 70-42 league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM).
The Bengals (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots come into the 4A District 1 test with a 3-19 record. In their last test, Miyamura held off Aztec (Aztec, NM), 66-44, in a league test.
