Ohio High School Basketball - Sandy Valley bested by Garaway

Garaway Pirates (Sugarcreek, OH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH), 62-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Garaway advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH) to meet the Generals in a Inter-Valley match on Tuesday, February 11. The Generals enter the match with a record of 9-10. Ridgewood lost 53-36 in their recent league match against Hiland (Berlin, OH)

The Cardinals now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscarawas Valley for a Inter-Valley match on Tuesday, February 11. Sandy Valley will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 69-51 league loss to Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 4-15.
