In Friday's league contest, the host Rock Island Rocks basketball team scored a big 84-24 win over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Rocks (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Rockridge smashed Danville (Danville, IL), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
