In Friday's league contest, the host Goshen Central Gladiators basketball team scored a close 45-41 triumph over the Warwick Wildcats.

The Gladiators (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards go into the Section 9 Orange County II contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Washingtonville nipped Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 78-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II contest, on Monday, February 10. Warwick will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 60-53 league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY).
