In Friday's league contest, the visiting Greenfield Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 61-56 triumph over the South Fulton Red Devils.
The Yellowjackets (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, TN). The Golden Tornadoes go into the 1A District 14 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Union City nipped Gleason (Gleason, TN), 76-68, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Fulton City Bulldogs (Fulton, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. South Fulton will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 2-15 record after their 54-47 non-league win over Elverado (Elkville, IL).
