The Kewanee Boilermakers defeated the visiting Hall Red Devils basketball squad by a final score of 54-37 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Boilermakers clash with the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 8. Kewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Chiefs come into the outing with a 9-16 record after their 82-56 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, IL).
The Red Devils (11-13) will now prepare for their outing against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm come into the non-league outing with a 16-9 record. In their last outing, Bureau Valley overcame Galva (Galva, IL), 59-34, in a league outing.
