In Friday's league test, the South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), by a final score of 74-40.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 test, on Tuesday, February 11. South Grand Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 21-12 season record. The Volunteers come into the test with a 19-11 record after their 90-83 league win over Lamar (Arlington, TX).
The Buffalos (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 11-20 record. In their last test, Sam Houston was overwhelmed by Martin (Arlington, TX), 49-34, in a league test.
