The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) and the visiting Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), observed Johnson County's basketball team overcome Happy Valley by a score of 72-56.

The Longhorns (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against West Ridge (Blountville, TN). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, West Ridge dropped by Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), 64-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Happy Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-24 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 81-56 league loss to University School (Johnson City, TN).
