Connecticut High School Basketball - Weaver holds off Hartford Public

The Weaver Beavers basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Hartford Public Owls to 69 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Beavers now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Metropolitan Learning Center for a Capitol Region game on Monday, February 10.
With the loss, Hartford Public falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to face the Ravens in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Ravens enter the match with a record of 16-1. Academy of Science and Innovation won 54-41 in their recent league match against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT)
