Ohio High School Basketball - Hawken thwarts Orange

February 7, 2025: Gates Mills, OH 44040

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) and the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), observed Hawken's basketball team knock off Orange by a score of 58-50.

The Hawks (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Villa Angela-St. Joseph prevailed over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH), 65-59, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Beachwood Bison (Beachwood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Orange will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record.
