The Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) basketball toppled the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 60-43 in Friday's league bout.

The Indians now possess a 17-12 record. They play next when they host Memphis for a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Quanah will play a Cyclones team coming off a 59-53 league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Highland Park falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Wellington (Wellington, TX) to play the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Skyrockets go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Wellington won 56-51 in their recent league bout against Quanah (Quanah, TX)
