In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hulbert Riders basketball team scored a good 48-39 triumph over the Mounds Golden Eagles.
The Riders (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gore (Gore, OK). The Pirates go into the Big 8 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Gore topped Keota (Keota, OK), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Liberty Tigers (Mounds, OK) in a Frisco contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Mounds will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 14-3 record after their 65-24 non-league win over Porter (Porter, OK).
