In Friday's league contest, the host Jackson County Blue Devils basketball team scored a big 81-42 win over the York Institute Dragons.
The Blue Devils (20-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clay County (Celina, TN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Clay County smashed Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN), 80-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. York Institute will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 65-50 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, TN).
