West Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall victorious over Weir

In Friday's non-league contest, the host John Marshall Monarchs basketball team scored a good 78-64 triumph over the Weir Red Riders.
The Monarchs (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH). The Cadets come into the Twin State challenge with a 7-12 record.
In their next game, the Red Riders battle the North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Weir will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 68-53 league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV).
