In Friday's league contest, the visiting Wilkinson County Warriors basketball team scored a close 54-49 win over the Johnson County Trojans.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Georgia Military College Bulldogs (Milledgeville, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 contest, on Saturday, February 8. Johnson County will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 1-19 record after their 54-46 league win over Glascock County (Gibson, GA).
