The Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) basketball were winner over the host Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), 57-40 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Union for a 1A Old Oregon bout on Saturday, February 8. Joseph will play a Bobcats team coming off a 54-34 league win over Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Pine Eagle falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Wallowa (Wallowa, OR) to play the Cougars in a 1A Old Oregon bout on Saturday, February 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-16.
