The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) and the host Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH), observed Kearsarge's basketball team knock off Monadnock by a score of 55-40.

The Cougars (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Derryfield (Manchester, NH). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-16 record. In their last challenge, Derryfield dropped by St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH), 80-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats (Hillsboro, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Monadnock will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record.
